Siemens SIMATIC HMI Basic Panels KTP1000 Description:
Basic Panel for HMI tasks in the medium performance range (without scripts and archives).
The KTP1000 Basic color offers a 256 color touch display as well as 8 freely configurable function keys It is available in two versions: KTP1000 Basic color DP for MPI/PROFIBUS DP connections and KTP1000 Basic color PN with an Ethernet interface.
Area of application:
For HMI tasks in the medium performance range for the use in PROFIBUS or PROFINET networks according to the chosen variant; especially in combination with SIMATIC S7-1200 controllers but also with other controllers. With regard to screen size and resolution the KTP1000 meets higher requirements.

The KTP1000 Basic color is equipped with a 10.4 inch TFT- display offering 256 colors. A resolution of 640 x 480 pixels enables the representation of more complex operating screens at a convenient size incl. color representation. The panel can be operated by a resistive analog touch screen and additionally by 8 freely configurable function keys which when actuated provide tactile feedback. The KTP1000 Basic color is the ideal HMI-component for the medium and upper S7-1200 controller systems. It can be configured by using WinCC Basic (TIA Portal) or WinCC flexible Compact.
The KTP1000 offers HMI basic functionality (alarms, trend curves, recipes) with 500 tags.
